It’s also a walkable road, but it’s pretty ridiculous that way in 2022. There was a suitable solution using php snippet which unfortunately no longer works after upgrading one of the woocommerce versions.

Rather, the question is why in 2022 they will not be able to integrate the gutenberg editor into woocommerc by default ?????

Users have been begging in the Github community since 2019 at least since 2022.

I understand you want to have the option for Gutenberg in the product editor. We hear you! There has been internal discussion on how to approach this and we haven’t had a set plan at this time in introducing Gutenberg to the product editor.

I tried the suggestions of this page to enable Gutenberg in the product editor and found it works with the latest version of WooCommerce(6.5.1). ?? https://dev.to/kalimahapps/enable-gutenberg-editor-in-woocommerce-466m

Please consider following that if you want. You can add code to your child theme’s functions.php file or via a plugin that allows custom functions to be added, such as the Code Snippets plugin.
