    Does this plugin record any log of delivery success/error?

    I’ve noticed I’ve not received emails from the contact form during months…and it was due to a misconfiguration. But I’ve not seen any log with the errors.

    Why this plugin does not try to resend an email (when the plugin is not able to) with the web server settings (as if the plugin wasn’t installed)?

    It’s completely unreliable that you don’t notice that there are SMTP problems because there is no log or warning at all. For example, a warning in the WordPress Dashboard, where you can see that the plugin is having troubles.

    Did you run a Test Email action before finalizing the plugins settings? Have you enabled Enable Debug Log under Additional Settings tab?

    Hi,

    Te debug log was not enabled. At first, the plugin was setup correctly.

    But, months later, a change in the port of the mail server stopped the mails from being delivered. In this case, there’s no warning at all. No errors. Nothing.

    If the plugin is not able to send any email… it should warn in any or other way. A good place would be the WordPress Dashboard. A notification of that situation should be done. If not, it’s a completely silent error that is imposible to notice.
