    Hello!

I’m managing two websites which are almost the same (99%), except of the content. Same Theme, same WP-Version, same Plugins.

After installing your plugin Easy Updates Manager – which is very helpful – I noticed that in one website the section “Logs” is working fine (all updates were saved) but in the other website this section does not work (no Log data is saved).

Of course I want the update data to be stored and displayed in both websites.

Do you have any idea of the reason for this behavior?

    Regards
    Horst

    Hi Horst,

You need to turn on logs option in General section. I think, it is turned off in the site you’re referring.

    Hi Venkat,

thanks for your reply so quickly.

At first, I also thought that it was up to the settings. But the setting for the log files was already activated!

    Any other idea?

    Regards
    Horst

    Hi Horst,

It is strange. There is a chance, if logs table doesn’t exists. That is it is not created by installing Easy Updates Manager plugin.

Do you see any error messages either in browser console or in php error log?

    Regards,
    Venkat

    Hi Venkat,

meanwhile the problem has solved by itself.

I don’t know how. The last thing I tried was “clear logfiles” and I clicked on it. Now it works.

    Thanks again for your support!

I cannot get logs to work even when Automatic updates are working and I am getting the emails. Why?
