Logs are not being saved

Hi!
I think this started to happen about 2 weeks ago (not sure if it was due to an update), but even when I have configured to save 50 logs, they don’t.
Mails are being sent just fine, it is the log feature that is not working.
Can you guide me to troubleshoot it?Thanks!
