This may be because of a plugin/theme conflict. Can you do a conflict test and see if the issue goes away? This doc explains how to do a conflict test if you are not sure: How to do a plugin/theme conflict test?

Thank you very much @champsupertramp. Following the full conflict testing procedure allowed me to fix the error with the login. However, the “invalid key” error with password resets still persists. This is not a cookie nor a cache issue. Any suggestions on this?

I had similar issue that were related to a plugin is used called “Login Logout Register”. I went through the conflict test and passed only to later find the plugin as the culprit. Did this issue start recently? or was this the issue from the beginning?
