    Hello everyone! I am searching for some help because I can’t fix Google Search Console Logos error for almost a month. The problem is 100% generated by the Yoast plugin. The error is a logos error. There is written that there is “missing field ‘url'”. The description says that the problem is “unnamed item”.
    After analyzing the problem in Google Structured Data Testing Tool, it shows that the error occurs in this line of Yoast plugin code:
    Does anyone know how to fix it? I will be very grateful for help.

    <script type="application/ld+json" class="yoast-schema-graph">{"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"Organization","@id":"https://businessnes.com/#organization","name":"BusinessNES","url":"https://businessnes.com/","sameAs":[],"logo":{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://businessnes.com/#logo","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://businessnes.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/IMG_3160.jpg","width":1182,"height":1182,"caption":"BusinessNES"},"image":{"@id":"https://businessnes.com/#logo"}},{"@type":["Person","Organization"],"@id":"https://businessnes.com/#/schema/person/91b75987a77c6671ca28b5593ce5f253","name":"BusinessNES","image":{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://businessnes.com/#personlogo","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/6037e7b634479956da3dbcf5aa836004?s=96&d=mm&r=g","caption":"BusinessNES"},"logo":{"@id":"https://businessnes.com/#personlogo"},"sameAs":["https://twitter.com/businessnes"]},{"@type":"WebSite","@id":"https://businessnes.com/#website","url":"https://businessnes.com/","name":"BusinessNES","description":"Business  & New Earning Solutions","publisher":{"@id":"https://businessnes.com/#organization"},"potentialAction":[{"@type":"SearchAction","target":"https://businessnes.com/?s={search_term_string}","query-input":"required name=search_term_string"}],"inLanguage":"en-US"},{"@type":"ProfilePage","@id":"https://businessnes.com/author/admin/#webpage","url":"https://businessnes.com/author/admin/","name":"BusinessNES, Author at BusinessNES","isPartOf":{"@id":"https://businessnes.com/#website"},"breadcrumb":{"@id":"https://businessnes.com/author/admin/#breadcrumb"},"inLanguage":"en-US"},{"@type":"BreadcrumbList","@id":"https://businessnes.com/author/admin/#breadcrumb","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://businessnes.com/","url":"https://businessnes.com/","name":"Home"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://businessnes.com/author/admin/","url":"https://businessnes.com/author/admin/","name":"Archives for BusinessNES"}}]},{"@type":["Person"],"@id":"https://businessnes.com/#/schema/person/91b75987a77c6671ca28b5593ce5f253","name":"BusinessNES","image":{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://businessnes.com/#personlogo","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/6037e7b634479956da3dbcf5aa836004?s=96&d=mm&r=g","caption":"BusinessNES"},"sameAs":["https://twitter.com/businessnes"],"mainEntityOfPage":{"@id":"https://businessnes.com/author/admin/#webpage"}}]}</script>

  • Hello @papaomletto!

    Can you please make sure you’ve configured your settings under SEO → Search Appearance → General tab → Knowledge Graph & Schema.org section?

    Hello @onlyincebu! Thanks for for your message!
    Yes, I’ve configured the “Knowledge Graph & Schema.org” section. I uploaded a logo picture there, selected the type of activity (organization) and provided the name.
    So it looks like everything there is right.

    The problem must be somewhere else.

    Hello @papaomletto

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention!

    We apologize?for the trouble you are currently experiencing with our plugin. Luckily, a so-called “bug report” (a description of the issue, so we can fix it) is filed already.

    What’s next?
    Our product team will assess the severity of this problem in relation to other open bug reports and new features. Based on their assessment, the bug report will be given a priority. Our developers work on the highest priority issues first. Unfortunately, this means we cannot give you an estimate when they’ll start working on your report.

    If you have any further information that may affect the prioritization or help our development team solve this bug, please feel invited to reply to this forum topic.

    Upon checking your URL in Google’s structured data testing tool, both the Person and Organization schema is outputting. It’s possible if you previously used Person and then changed to Organization for the Search Appearance settings.

    The current workaround is to export the SEO settings, make sure the company_or_person_user_id variable is empty and import the settings again.

    Hello @mikes41720 thanks for the reply!
    It’s ok I understand that plugins like Yoast (which I honestly like so much!) sometimes have some bugs, especially because Google so often introduces new updates that you need to adapt to.
    So should I wait for the next update of Yoast plugin, and after it the error will be deleted?

    I had “organization” in my Yoast settings, and it was like that for many months. When the logos error appeared I’ve changed in settings from “organization” to “person” to see if the error will disappear. But it didn’t help so I’ve changed back to the “organization”.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your feedback! No, it’s currently not slated for the next version. Based on the assessment from our developers, the bug report will be given a priority. We would advise that you try the workaround mentioned:

    Ok, thanks for the information!
    Which is the best way to export Yoast SEO Settings and edit this variable? Is it possible to edit this in WordPress plugin editor? I have a little problem to find where in the plugin’s code this variable is..

    @papaomletto You can export your Yoast settings by performing the following actions:

    ? In WordPress, go to SEO>Tools
    ? Click on ‘Import and Export
    ? Click on the ‘Export Settings’ tab
    ? Click the ‘Export your Yoast SEO settings‘ button
    ? You’ll then see your settings output into the ‘Your Yoast SEO settings‘ text ? field.
    ? Copy the contents of the field to a new plain text file.

    After editing your settings in the text file, you can then re-import them back into Yoast using these steps:

    ? In WordPress, go to SEO>Tools
    ? Click on ‘Import and Export
    ? Click on the ‘Import Settings‘ tab
    ? Paste your Yoast SEO settings from the text file into the ‘Yoast SEO settings to import‘ field
    ? Click the ‘Import settings‘ button

    We also have more information on this here: https://yoast.com/yoast-seo-import-export/

    Thank you so much for such a detailed explanation @devnihil !
    Ok so when I’ve exported my SEO settings I have these lines (I think all of them might be important?).

    person_name = ""
    person_logo = "https://businessnes.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/IMG_3160.jpg"
    person_logo_id = 24419
    alternate_website_name = ""
    company_logo = "https://businessnes.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/IMG_3160.jpg"
    company_logo_id = 24419
    company_name = "BusinessNES"
    company_or_person = "company"
    company_or_person_user_id = 1

    Is deleting “1” in the “company_or_person_user_id =” variable everything I got to do, to delete the error? Or should I also delete data for “person_logo” and “person_logo_id”?
    Forgive me so many questions, I wouldn’t want to damage anything.

    @papaomletto You should just make sure the the company_or_person_user_id is empty, and then re-import the settings.

    Can you please do that and let us know whether it resolves the issue?

    Thread Starter papaomletto

    (@papaomletto)

    Ok. I just exported SEO settings and deleted value in company_or_person_user_id.
    I have imported the edited data and it looks like this now:

    company_or_person = "company"
    company_or_person_user_id =
    stripcategorybase =
    title-post = "%%title%% %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%"

    I tried to validate the repair in Google Search Console but I received the message “Cannot continue validation process
    Affected pages were found. Fix the issue and run validation again”.
    Google Structured Data Testing Tool also shows that it is still the same error.

    Hi @papaomletto,

    Thank you for your reply.

    We checked your author page in the Google Structured Data Testing Tool and there were no errors. Can you please share a screenshot or the URL’s you still get notifications for in Google Search Console so we can check?

    Thanks.

    (@papaomletto)

    Hello!
    I just once again tested my website in the Structured Data Testing Tool and it already shows that there are 0 errors! (maybe when yesterday I checked right after editing SEO settings, the data was not updated yet).
    Ok, so it looks like the problem has been fixed. I have just started the repair validation in the Google Search Control and everything will probably be fine.
    Thank you all for help. You helped me a lot, you are wonderful!
