    Hi Vasyl,

I updated our site last night from HTTP to HTTPS so I activated the free version of SSL on my host and made use of a plugin called “Really simple SSL” By Rogier Lankhorst on our site. I also I made changes to to the redirects I have in AAM to include HTTPS in the URL’s.

After completing this task all looked good with our site until I tried to login via your “Login Widget”.

I can login ok but I have to do it twice to get to the Dashboard.. i.e. Login initially to wordpress via the frontend using your login widget with a redirect to a page as always according to role. This works fine but then I hit the Dashboard link or the top admin bar dashboard link and I am then offered the backend login prompted again and have to re-enter my password only as the ID field is pre-populated with my ID.

Once my password has been re-enterd I get thrown back to the redirected page and I can then click through to the dashboard without any other interruption.

String below taken from the address bar when this happens.

    https://www.lasouterraineenglishlibrary.fr/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lasouterraineenglishlibrary.fr%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

Any Idea what I can do to overcome this?
I have tried multiple variations with the “Really simple SSL” plugin settings and turned off the “Auto-replace mixed content” redirector facility but it does not make any difference at the moment I am using another login widget that does not have any problems at all. however I prefer your login for the security aspects.

I have taken screenshots, let me know if you want to take a look..

    Any advice would be welcome..

    And thanks in advance..

    Andrew

    Hi @andrewmperryman,

This issue has been resolved in the latest AAM release. It was related to the way WordPress core sets cookies on the website with SSL installed.

    Regards,
    Vasyl

    Hi @vasyltech,

Thanks for the follow up, I have your latest version installed and all is good.

I would just like to say again how fantastic this product is.

All websites I setup now have this product as default and most love purchasing the category extension.

I can’t believe that the wordpress community havent approached you with a view to taking this product in house..

I know how hard you have worked on this and wish you all the success that comes with and pertains to that effort.. ??

    Andrew
