    Hi,

I am new to WordPress development and Tiny Framework looked like a really well thought out place to start.

However, I am having a great deal of difficulty getting a site logo to display.

The instructions here: https://mtomas.com/389/tiny-forge-framework-child-themes-comprehensive-guide#Header-and-logo-configuration-options seem to suggest that I can either use version 4.5 or above or install the Jetpack plugin.

I am using v4.5.2 and I really don’t want to install the Jetpack plugin as this will only allow me to have a logo if I connect it to a wordpress.com account and I can’t do that as this is for a non-internet-connected intranet site.

Is there a way to do this without that plugin? The instructions seem to suggest so but I can see no way of actually going about it…

It seems very strange that one must have one’s server connect to wordpress.com for every page view just for the privilege of displaying a logo!

Odly enough I can do this in the older Tiny Forge, just not in the newer Tiny Framework – this seems very odd, have I just mis-understood something?

Hi, I’m late with the theme release, I thought I will push the new version before WP 4.5 will be out, but had to fix a couple more things.

If you want, get newest betta that should work without Jetpack:

Hi Tomas, many thanks for your quick reply. I will try the beta version.
