When W3 is enabled, I lose my logo. When I deactivate it, it comes back.

I have tinkered for a few hours and cannot find what is causing this issue.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    Hello,
I am sorry about the issue you are having with your logo.
As per our previous conversation, Do you still have W3 Total Cache, AO, and Cloudflare enabled?
Also, can you please disable W3 Total Cache setting one by one in Performance>General settings, save and purge the cache after each disable. See which setting is causing this.

I went through and disabled them one by one, the re-enabled and disabled the next. None of them caused the Logo to come back. I even turned off all Misc. items.

Boxes checked in General Settings are:
    Page Cache
    Object Cache
    Browser Cache
    All Misc. settings except:
    Enable file locking
Optimize disk enhanced page and minify disk caching for NFS

Completely disabling W3 seems to fix the problem though.

The above settings are per an article on using W3, CloudFlare and Autoptimize together.

    Update:
If I leave W3 active, and deactivate Autoptimize, the Logo also returns. It would appear that this is a problem of using both W3 and Autoptimize at the same time.

I’ll post this question on the Autoptimize support page as well.

    Any ideas?

I spoke to the Autoptimize author who mentioned that there is a known issue:

“AO when used with W3TC cannot load it’s own minifiers, so W3TC’s are used (even if related options are off in W3TC). Minifiers being loaded, even if disabled in W3TC, is a known issue and has been confirmed to be looked into by their devs.”

Looks like this has not been resolved just yet?

    Hello,
Yes, this is a known issue and I am sorry about that. What happens is W3 Total Cache minify library is being loaded even if Minify is not enabled, therefore causing AO HTML Minify conflict.
We are working on this and this should be fixed in future releases. Until then, you should disable AO HTML minify or switch caching plugin.

Can you suggest another plugin that accomplishes what AO does but works better with your product?

    Hello,

Have you considered trying W3 Total Cache minify?

I am going thru and deactivating each plugin to see if I can narrow down what is happening since I still get a D when I deactivate AO. But now I cannot reactivate W3. The banner notification says Plugin Activated, but there is no menu item in the left sidebar and the W3 item in the Plugin list still shows as not activated.

How do I get this thing activated again? I am not getting any multi site errors like I’ve seen in other posts on this support page, so I am uncertain what is wrong.

Weird. disregard last question. I tried to activate WP Super cache to work in place of W3, got an error, then W3 was active.
