Logo Upload not working

Does the favicon upload function work?

I am having the same problems. Tried in on WP 3.5 and 3.5.2 but no luck uploading logo. Using Customizr 2.1.8 and also tried the latest version from github 3.0.1 and no luck.

I think I may have figured out the problem. If works after I setup permalinks. I was testing the theme on a new site and had not set permalinks yet. Now it is working.

Nope, that’s not it. I use permalinks and my favicon upload does nothing (e.g. on Safari or Firefox on a Mac).

Does it need to be pre sized / pre-formatted in some way to work?

Oops: my previous post was referring to favicons, not logos. Apologies!

Solution: update permissions of site directory, if developing locally, or in general. Logo upload won’t accept an image if permissions are restricted, esp. for the uploads folder.

Or vice-versa. The theme at Themeforest has only been around since March 2013. The theme here has been around a lot longer as far as I can recall.

@esmi. Or vice-versa, sure. @nikeo, my apologies, though the two share similar qualities. I wasn’t asking a question. I was processing freely, in considering the issue, what the two might have in common and how to address the issue at hand. Alas, I have also provided a working solution.

@nikeo: Flexform has a similar customizer, responsive layout, multiple slideshow/sliders built-in, and a similar default home page layout.

I applaud you. I’m grateful for your free work. Didn’t mean the comment as a slight.

I checked the rights on the directories and they are all 755. I verified with a previous site I had used and it was working fine there.

Can we get an answer on this problem?

Uploads of FavIcon or Logo gets no response. It doesn’t update the customizr to tell it to update for either uploads. I have tried multiple sizes without results too so that isn’t it either.
