    If the logo is the right proportions i.e. not too tall and inserted via the logo uploader it should be allocated in the header-menu bar and thus stay fixed in place when you scroll.

    However, if the logo is too large in height then it will increase the height if the header-menu bar and thus the whole thing will no longer be fixed in place.

    Hope that helps,
    Zulf

    sorry to have the image ‘ allocated in the header-menu bar and stay fixed in place when you scroll’- do I change the header image or the logo?
    And what should be the image size for that? thanks a trillion

    Theme Author Brian Harris

    (@zgani)

    That would be the logo.

    The max height I’d recommend without loosing the fixed menu/logo would be 80px

    Thanks I did so accordingly and yet the whole menu now together with the logo ain’t fixed, they disappear as I scroll down.

    Sorry about that – 80px is the max break point and therefore anything below that will work.

    Here’s a demo where I’m using one set at 78px – https://demo1.ridizain.com/

    Thanks I did so accordingly but now the upper part of the social menu disappears. How may I fix that?

    Also, can I have the opacity of ‘logo and menu ‘ as a group lowered to say 80%?

    Thanks a lot!! My site finally looks like how it should!

    Oh, OK.

    Let me take a look in to that and get back to you as soon as I can. Same for the opacity code.

    Need to catch up on some sleep so it’ll be a few hours when I do get back online.

    how can I pay back besides recommending it? already gave it five stars

    (@zgani)

    OK, I’m back ??

    Sorry but couldn’t replicate the issue with the menu bar/sidebar overlap but here’s something to try…add to your style.css/css plugin:

    #secondary {
        margin-top: 10px;
    }

    For the opacity add the following CSS code to your style.css / plugin…

    #masthead {
        opacity: 0.8;
    }

    The 0.8 roughly translates to 80% and you can adjust that to suite your needs.

    how can I pay back besides recommending it? already gave it five stars

    Well, using, recommending and rating the theme 5stars have to be the best pay back you can give – your support is very much appreciated ??

    Sorry I tried but it didn’t seem to work.
    I have left the site tagline empty, but checked the site title display box to keep my logo showing.
    Now there is one funny looking gray bar separating the logo+menu from the grid and the main content. Please help.

    If you have an email address I can email you the screencap shot?
