Logo size limit?? & Tagline out!

  • Dear All,
    does anyone know:
    1) what is the EAXCT size limit of Logo, as I cannot upload mine unless I shrink it to an horrible low-definition version? …is it a pixel limit or data limit?

    2) the so called “Tagline” is way too big, hence it makes the space for the Logo very tiny. Is it possible to eliminate the Tagline completely, or – at least – shrink it in order to have a much bigger space for the Logo?

  • 1) See the documentation for uploading logo. The ideal size is 250×100 and you can force that dimension for bigger logos. But how big is your logo? There are no restrictions as far as I can remember.

    2) Eliminate using this snippet

    my Logo is 645 KB (jpg): it doesn’t get uploaded (at least it doesn’t show up in the header, nowhere in fact!) is it too big??

    What is its’ width/height in px?

    Try a different (comparable) image. Will it upload any image? Try a .png version.

    One more question, pls. I need to move the Logo a tiny bit on the right, which means detaching it from the left border of the site (now it is touching it, hence it is not nice at all).
    Any suggestion?

    Hi Dave,
    I’m sorry but I have to disagree: there is nothing in previous replies which explains how to move the Logo on the right within the top banner (as currently it is touching the left border of the site).

    Can you pls. confirm? thanks a lot.

    I suggest you take a look at the new release 3.2.1 which has lots of new features.

    If that doesn’t resolve your issues, then start a new thread.
