I am having issues with the title disappearing when I am trying to use a logo. Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like I am missing something fairly simple.

This happened when I switched from using wordpress.com, to my own hosted site. In the “customize” menu for wordpress.com the site title, tagline, and logo are all in one place, and there is a box you can check for “Display Header Text”

in the “customize” menu for the hosted site, the title / tagline is in a separate box from the Logo, and I don’t see a “display header” box to check or anything like that.

Normally what happens is the ‘Logo’ always replaces the Title and Description.

This gives people who don’t have a logo a way to have people know who they are etc.

Wilson for WordPress.com is developed by Automattic, so there are some differences between that version and the version that is available on www.remarpro.com. You can download the WordPress.com version for a self-hosted site as well, but I can’t guarantee that the functionality you’re talking about is available there either.

In any case, you can download the WP.com version by going to the Wilson page and clicking “Download Wilson” in the bottom of the right sidebar.
