    Hi,
first, thanks for the great free theme…it’s amazing!

I’ve spent way too long on this and am resorting to the community for help. I’ve noticed that my logo looks pixelated and even looking at any of the demos for OceanWP, so are theirs, such as:
    https://coach.oceanwp.org/
    https://yoga.oceanwp.org/
    https://coach.oceanwp.org/

My site is under construction which is why I’m not posting a link. However, because their own demo sites are the same way, I figured it’s a good example.

I have even created the logo in AI as an svg and it still shows jagged edges. My logo is 300×41. The suggested size is just too small for my taste.

Does everyone have this issue? It looks jagged on any device, so it’s not just my laptop. Wondering if it’s theme specific. Going crazy here.

    Thanks for any advice!

  • Hello,

I didn’t see the issue on demo sites. Can you please share a screenshot of the issue? Also, to adjust the logo size, go to Customize > Header > Logo section.

Have you uploaded a Retina logo and which browser you are using to view the site?

    Hi Amit,

thanks for the fast reply. Hopefully you can view this screenshot of the Yoga demo logo taken from my laptop:

I had uploaded a retina logo 2x the size of the normal logo but on a tablet using Chrome, it showed a weird box and the font was completely different. On the Samsung browser, it was fine. So I removed it altogether. I’m working from a laptop, although even on a tablet the Yoga logo is still a bit jagged and more so if you zoom in on it.

I realise I can adjust the logo size as you describe. That doesn’t make a difference. I also even tried to do a gaussian blur through photoshop on it which only helped slightly.

Is there any compression taking place within the theme/header section? I also realise that because my logo is in italics that could cause an issue with pixelation and this may be something I have to deal with. It just made me wonder since your demo logos seem to be pixelated as well. Could be that they’re small and that’s why it shows up as such, too.

    Thanks!

Can you try to remove the retina logo to troubleshoot the issue? Clear cache and check it works or not.

There is no retina logo being used. Never mind, I’ll just deal with it. Thanks anyway.
