I’m using the plugin for a while, but since the last month the logo of my site, which I’ve located on the top left of the page and that was usually visible both in “print” and “pdf” mode, now is broken in pdf mode.

I’ve already tried to uninstall and reinstall the plugin and updated everything to the latest version.
    Any possible suggestion?

    Hi,

Unfortunately, we couldn’t say what exactly you should do. This is the matter of server configuration.

You could try to do next steps:
    – upgrade MPDF library on the PDF&Print settings page if you didn’t do it yet
    – check image permissions (it should be 755)
    – insert other image type (Ex: png image) and check the plugin’s work again
    – check redirect and permission settings in .htaccess file and server configuration

    Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply. About this option: “insert other image type (Ex: png image) and check the plugin’s work again” where should I proceed in uploading the images or reference them in the plugin?

If I’ve understood correctly the plugin should use the theme images for the logo, but I’m not sure where this is supposed to be configured or can be changed.

    Thanks

    Hi,

You should try to replace the logo image type (Ex: png image) in the same way as you added it before. Also, you can try to use the “Full Page Capture to PDF” option. In this case, the plugin will mirror what is shown on the screen.

I’ve done all the suggestions proposed, but none seems to work.
Just for recap, the goal is to have a custom image on the header of the post PDF print, this feature was working correctly since a couple of months ago now. The 2 approaches in place now to add an image to the header of the post printed in PDF are:

Option 1: Use the Custom PHP module. That’s the original approach, the one in place up to now. I’ve tried editing the image referred to in the script, deleting, replacing and setting a new image, but any test done ended up in the same way, with the broken image logo during the PDF print of the post, instead, the HTML print was working as expected with every change done.

Option 2: Create a header via the “Header and Footer” section of the plugin. All works, unless when applied to the PDF print it gives me the same result. The broken image instead of the one I’ve uploaded

The only thing that I’ve not managed to change is the file permission. My site is hosted on Wpengine, and they told me that it’s not possible to change the file permissions above 0664, and directories above 0775.

    have you any other suggestions?
