logo image (not https) mixed content

    When uploading a logo through the customizer it will automatically append https:// instead of https://

    This results in the mixed content warning sign in the browser on a secure site. How can this be remedied?

    I’ve found the solution, it is not an issue of the theme. I just had to change a WordPress setting. The WordPress-adres (URL) in “Settings” > “Reading” needs to start with https:// prefix.
