    Hey there,

I have a black bar in my theme that is supposed to be a placeholder for my logo, I however can’t find the place where I should upload my logo for it to appear there (It’s in my media library) and now I just have a black bar with text on it.

As you can see, there’s a nice low opacity header, with an abnoxious black bar over it.

I have played the the posts and added images (it all worked) but for this logo part I am stuck.

  • Hi Revelon,

thanks for using MH Squared lite.

You can upload a logo / header image in your WordPress dashboard under “Appearance => Header”.

Ah if someone else comes along with the same question.
The fix is: Go to Site Identity > Display Header Text (turn it off!)

That option will only hide the site title and tagline in WordPress, it won’t upload a logo. When you don’t show the site title and on the other hand also don’t upload a logo, you won’t have anything in your header – that probably isn’t what you want.

Yes but you need to do both, if you just upload a logo then you still have a black bar there that doesn’t look good at all.
