LoginLogout menu filter not working on block themes?

    Hi,

    I tested the LoginLogout menu on a fresh site with twentytwentyfour, then adding the filter from 2. Filter To Redirect After Successful Login from https://loginpress.pro/doc/login-logout-menu-filters/ to functions.php.

    But it doesn’t seem to work on block based themes? Do this plugin only work on legacy themes?

    Tested both with and without the Redirect to current url on and off.

    Would be great if you could test and verify. Thanks!

    Thanks Muhammad! I looked a bit further into it now. I think the block I added was the themes Login/Logout block and I couldn’t find any block from the Login Logout Menu

    When I go to Setting under your Login Logout Menu plugin after turning on the addon, I only get the error: Your theme does not support navigation menus or widgets.

    Running with complete vanilla twentytwentyfour theme without any other plugins.

    Hi there,

    The issue was resolved on our support forum.

    The Login Logout Menu is fully compatible with block-based themes. You need to follow these steps to add a login/logout menu item using blocks:

    • Search for the “Navigation” block and select it.
    • Add menu items by clicking on the “Add item” button.
    • Click on the Menu’s three dots in the right sidebar after clicking on it a list of “Legacy Menus” will appear.
    • Choose the “Legacy Menu” you want to select, The old menu will be embedded inside the Gutenberg.
    • Save it and enjoy.
