    Hi,

    Only Instagram can manage your Instagram accounts – which account you login and logout. When you login first time using Social Login, Instagram knows that you are not logged in, hence you are required to login. The second time, you are already logged in and so you proceed. If you want to login through another account, you will have to go to Instagram and logout. This is the default behaviour and is not controlled Social Login.

    Hi miniOrange your plugin is good but, when I test login with facebook, I already know that it will conflict with an existing customer’s email, registered to the site. But it seems , I don’t receive an error message that, email is already used after logging in, instead It won’t login and that should be it, but it’s just the error message should be there. I’m currently testing it with a free trial version on localhost before I purchase.

    Hi nilknarf,

    It is not supposed to give a conflict with an existing customer’s email, instead it should log in with that customer.
    There is a major bug fix regarding this issue which has been released with version 4.9. Please update the plugin and let us know if it is letting you login to the existing customer with same email.

    Hi again miniOrange, when I purchase the plugin and currently on “Do it your self Plan” and only using fb social login, I notice that when I’m logged in I don’t get the actual email address from facebook but instead the value of the email address of the new user is always @social-user.com.
    ex: [email protected]
    or it’s [email protected]

    But when I logged in via fb for the first time with my current email address on facebook it’s an exact email I get. I mean it’s the only exact email I get, even after deleting the account and logged in again.
    ex: [email protected]

    And my wp-settings New User Default Role is Customer but instead the user’s role upon login is Subscriber.

    Could you help me out what could be the issue? I need your reply on this matter a.s.a.p.

    Hi nilknarf,

    There is a setting in the Social Login tab under Registration Options where you can set Universal Role for users registering through the plugin. Please set it to Customer and check if user registration is registering the user with correct role.

    As for the first issue, the email address is not getting retrieved from Facebook due to which an email address is created for registration. To debug the issue further with us, please mail us at [email protected].
