Login/authentication bug?

  • Hello all —

    I’ve noticed a new and rather inconvenient behavior in this latest update. You can log in as usual and edit pages or posts, but if you decide to open a new window in the same site, you have to log in again. The second time, the login uses the “Show you are a human” simple math equation.

    This appears to happen in Firefox on Mac and PC and in Mac Safari. It does not happen in IE (that I have seen). The Mac is running OS X 10.12.2. I don’t know about the PC.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
