Login Works In SideBar but Not Body

  • If you go to https://awardsforebooks.com/register-and-pay-with-paypal/ you’ll find in the bottom right hand corner a login. A test login is “Joseph Benton” and password is cats. That works. But if you log in using the script from the body of this page, it does NOT work. It throws an error. Please test this for yourself and please let me know what is going on. I really could use this plugin.

  • I have the same problem. Login works on the widget but not using the shortcode in a page. I posted this before and had a reply to say it was a conflict with another plugin. I disabled them all and it still did not work.

    I get the error saying ‘Please enter a username and password’ so it seems as though it is not receiving the entered content correctly?

    Really hope this can be fixed as I like the plugin.

    Ok as far as I can tell you can only have once instance of the Login option per page. So if you want to use it on the body of the site then you need to remove the widget one and visa versa.

    I have managed this by using a custom sidebar for my login page that does not include the widget.

    atm it’s limited to one, I have plans on revamping the js (in fact it’s not far off) but time hasn’t been something I’ve had much of recently.
