    Hi,
This is an old problem that came with an update of your plugin more than a year ago. Users with accounts created before the update can no longer log in with their email address. I have looked in phpMyAdmin for any differences between old an new accounts but can’t find any.

Do you have any suggestions how this can be fixed or where I should look?

    Hi @treetex,

Thank you for reaching out. Could you please let us know which option you have selected under “Allow Users to Login With”?

To find this setting, navigate to:
User Registration >> Settings >> General >> Login Option >> Allow Users to Login With.

Let us know whether it works for you or not and I will get back to you.

    Hi @sanjuacharya77,

Sorry for not mention that before, I have login with Username or Email.
Both methods worked before, but now old accounts can only login with Username.

    Hi @treetex,

Sorry for delay. I tested this by installing version 1.8.6 (approximately 1 to 1.5 years old) and registered a user. After updating to the latest version, I was able to log in using the email without any issues. I’ve also included a recording of my test for your reference: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/32043841?key=4abc0c990405c8a7a88d8b3ee0b1e137

Since I’m unable to replicate the problem, So I assume, it might be due to a plugin conflict in you site. Could you please deactivate all other plugins except for User Registration and check if the issue persists? I’ll follow up once you’ve tested that.

    Regards!
