    Okay great news.

Hello, i have the same problem : when a new member tries to connect, the error message appears that the connection is failed but they are logged in and they can see the only-member pages… i also use s2member plugin.

I did not understand your messages above, did Angelo gave an answer ?

I really would like to solve this issue because i am very satisfied with this plugin, i would not like to find another one… thanks in advance !

Hi no feedback and the plugin wasn’t fixed. I moved to use the S2member pro login widget as it is more stable. I couldn’t wait for them to solve it as the issue was on a live site members pay for.

    Poor show all round really.

I have the same problem, i have a live community website but it does not so profitable, so i can not pay s2member pro, well I am waiting for a solution…

I am very sorry to hear that.

I hope they solve it soon. I am trying not to use free plugins for things like login now due to this as when it goes wrong there is no urgency to fix it.

I would do the same if i had money ??

In the meantime i am looking for another plugin for the connection, i will try Nice Login Widget. If we will not have an answer, i will tell if the new login widget works…

So, if someone has the same problem, i will suggest Nice Login Widget, it seems that it works ! The only difference is that the widget does not redirect, it refreshes the same page which we connected on…

My site is having the same issue.
It started when the hosting provider updated to php5.5. Therefore I moved the site back to 5.4 with no results.

also, tried going back to version 3.1.3 of the plugin.

finally tried to debug the plugin myself… but the returned key after login is hashed and I do not understand what is going wrong.

    please help

    Hey All,
Having the same issue! Which is driving me crazy because I just built a very nice login page around this plugin, I tested it – but I was logging in as admin, which works without any issues.

But if I try to login as a non-admin, just a subscriber, I get “an error has occurred”.

But can logon as admin no problems.

When I disable S2 everything works fine!

I’m running the brand new version of WP…4.2

Any thoughts – has anyone heard from the developer on this???

    Thanks!
    Rob

    Hi,
the authour of this plugin does not developpe anymore this plugin i guess, no answer from his side.
As i said, i use Nice Login Widget instead, which works fine together with s2member plugin, the only difference is that it does not redirect to your login page, it refreshes the page and stays where the member has connected…
    Hope it helped you !

    Hello Igor,
    Thanks for the tip!

I’m just using the S2 login form – which works great, it’s just not as cool as this plugin ??

    Rob

    Hello Rob,

i use Nice Login Widget because it is a widget, so i can visualize it on my pages, my problem with s2 login form is that for connection, the members must open the page of the form, they must go to an additional page… you can use Nice Login Widget just like Login with Ajax.
Depends what you want as priority.

    Igor
