Login verify email not received

My latest login security settings have been working fine using reCaptcha V3 apart from the irritating request to verify via an email. In the last hour or so, however, the mail has not arrived. I suspected a recent update to my mail client but I have checked mail with two other clients and there is no mail. Not in spam either. This means I am locked out of my website.
