I have disabled 2FA on numerous domains, and on others set a grace period until 30 June but now I get Login Verification messages above the login box. It tells me that an email has been sent but when I click the verification link on that email I get led back to the login page of the domain but nothing else happens. That is nothing changes on the login screen and I am locked out. Can you please give an option to disable this because at the moment with 2FA and Login Verification NOT working on any of the domains I own or help others to manage; I have to disable the Wordfence Plugin completely from the hosting back end in order to login. These domains are live so using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin is not really an option for me. I have also lodged a ticket for the paid Wordfence subscription I have for one of the domains but I have half a dozen free wf plugins as well. Really I would just prefer that Wordfence provide an option to completely disable 2FA and its associated functions. It seems to be too much trouble at this point.

  • Hey @southerncrosswebs,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having this trouble. Since you mentioned that you’ve started a Premium support ticket, we’ll continue to look into this for you there. Assuming the issues are similar, the solution should help all of the sites.

    Thanks!

The issue is partly resolved. It appears that I needed to update reCaptcha to version 3. Version 2 was messing with the login verification script. Updating that has worked on three domains. Now I will try to get the 2FA to work. Thanks for the reply.

    Hey @southerncrosswebs,

Thanks for the update, and my apologies for the delayed response.

Please let us know how to 2FA issue goes.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
