Login URL Has “?” Appended

I have installed your plugin on a new site. However the login URL prefix has defaulted to “https://mydomain/?” rather than “https://mydomain/” which is what it normally defaults to.
Therefore by default the new login location is “https://mydomain/?login” rather than “https://mydomain/login” as it is on all of my other sites.
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the plugin but that made no difference.
I am using plugin version 1.2.4 and WordPress 4.9.4.
Please advise.
