2) Every theme is different. I wouldn’t know from here. Have you tried the other installation method, specially the one adding the code to your functions.php file ?

#2). Yeah, it works on functions.php. My issue was I inserted <?php thumbs_rating_getlink(); ?> to my custom content type’s single.php file, and it doesn’t say anything, like it’s not inserted

Try the B method. Pasting this code in your functions.php file:

function thumbs_rating_print($content)
{
    return $content.thumbs_rating_getlink();
}
add_filter('the_content', 'thumbs_rating_print');
