Hello! I need help to log in to my old website.

I created a new website in another server (Raiola Networks) with the same domain (I migrated the domain already, and changed the DNS to the new server) but still have active until end of june the old hosting Godaddy.

The new website is published with the redirections 301 done and I totally forgot to download or copy all my blog posts… How can I get to my old WP site? when I go from Godaddy send me to the new one and says page not found.
and if I write /wp-admin to log in, it says password error and blocks my ip for being trying, because that’s the login of the new website… the passwords and users are different, but the email admin is the same…

Do you think it is still possible to log in to the old one?

    Thanks in advance!

  • You can. You will need to set up the hosts file of your PC to point the domain name to the old hosting servers IP address. There’s a lot of information out there about how to do that, so do some searching for your own OS.

Oh, and remember to remove the hosts entry when you’re done so you can get back to see the new site.
