login to my admin panel not working.

  • Hi, I have just installed wordpress for the first time. I took a photo of the url for my admin area so I no its correct. It doesnt work!

    I originally had web forwarding for my domain https://www.b24fit.co.uk to point at a FB page. I have been into 123 reg & removed this.

    Any ideas as to why this link is not working please?

  • It can take up to 72 hours for domain name changes & redirections to fully propagate.

    oh ok. so you think leave it for a couple of days then? I can’t do any thing without access to the admin section though can I?

    Have you changed the name servers to point at your new site?

    What Esmi said ^ it doesn’t look like your domain name is pointing to your hosting company, it looks like it’s now just at your registrar.

    You may need to check with your hosting company and get the correct nameservers and update your domain with those nameservers at 123reg

    I have now changed them on 123reg.

    So what’s next please?

    You could try adding IP address to /etc/hosts.
    b24fit.co.uk IP_ADDRESS

    Sigh… I just really want someone to email me or phone me or somehow talk to me. I’m too technologically retarded to understand even half of what people are saying on here and I really just want a WordPress representative to solve my problem.

    I’ve designed an e-commerce webpage using WordPress and Woocommerce and have been trying to integrate it to the url where I’m testing the primary website on a different platform. (This is not going to be a permanent url, I’m just using it for testing)

    With all my messing around with locations and stuff now I can’t log into my website from WordPress, the interface isn’t working from the location where I’m testing the primary website and I’m really too stupid to fix it. Doesn’t WordPress have actual staff I can talk to that have like magic wands and stuff?? The location used to be https://localhost:37935 but nobody could get there except me which kinda wasn’t what we had in mind… I’m too old for the flippin’ interwebs, writing letters and doing telemarketing was never this complicated!

    WordPress is free software and this free, volunteer-staffed forum is the only support resource available via www.remarpro.com. If that is not suitable for your purposes, you may want to consider hiring someone
