Login timeout

  • I have searched for the solution so far with no luck to this particular problem as it does not appear on any other tickets or forums.

    I have a multisite setup using three separate domain names, until this week it was all working fine using the Domain Mapping plugin. However now when you try to login to the separate sites, instead of taking you to the Dashboard, it intermittently gets caught in a loading loop until it timeouts with a Error 524.

    The problem is this error is intermittent and doesn’t always occur, sometimes allowing you to log into all three sites, others not. Does anyone know if this is related to the server, WordPress or the plugin now as it would certainly help to locate the cause of the issue.

    Would rebuilding this again with a new install be the best solution?

    Did you do any plugin/theme/core updates recently? That sounds like you have an new intermittent error of some kind.
