“A user with IP address 135.181.2.40 has been locked out from signing in or using the password recovery form for the following reason: Used an invalid username ‘[login]’ to try to sign in.”

    Hi @devest,

This means that the IP address tried to login with the invalid username [login] and was immediately blocked as you have the option Immediately lock out invalid usernames enabled.

You can test it by using a VPN or setting a short lock out time of 5 minutes for your own IP address and login with a specific invalid username and you should see that specific invalid username shown in the lock out email.

Oh, they try to use ‘[login]’ as the username.
I thought that problem in an email and [login] tag doesn’t parse.

    Thank you.
