• Hi,
    Suddenly we are not able to login at all. Entering correct logins and passwords continually says invalid. Requesting forgotten password does not send an email.

    I debugged it down to the front end login in the Uncanny toolkit.

    As long as that is off, it works.

    I have automatic plugin updates and so I’m thinking an update must have happened in the last couple of days that broke this.

    Any ideas? I have it off for now.

    Hi Evelyn,

    The Toolkit hasn’t been updated for 3 months, so nothing would have changed on that side, and we haven’t had any similar reports. If you’re using a transactional email plugin (e.g. Sendgrid, Sparkpost), maybe turn that off temporarily to test. Same thing if you’re using anything that rebrands emails, just in case it’s an issue with HTML settings. Also try an email logging plugin to see whether or not WordPress attempts to send the password reset email. Unfortunately, the issue isn’t likely on the Toolkit side, but maybe another plugin that intercepts or modifies emails could now not like something in the Toolkit password reset emails.
