Recently, the [pmpro_login] shortcode stopped working. My login page no longer shows the boxes for users to login. At first I thought it was due to the new WordPress 6.1 version but then I realized that I hadn’t upgraded to the newest version yet. Then I upgraded and it still showed the issue. I also ran it in troubleshooting mode with default theme and only Paid Membership Pro activated.

  • Hey @cdancer20,

Thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this experience. We recommend using the latest versions of Paid Memberships Pro and WordPress, so please update to Paid Memberships Pro 2.9.5, and then let me know if this resolves the problem. If you continue to have problems, the most likely culprit is either a conflict with another active plugin or the theme. Please temporarily deactivate all plugins except for the core PMPro plugin and test again. You can either deactivate them temporarily in bulk or work through them one by one. If the issue persists from there, revert to the default Twenty Twenty One theme. If the issue is resolved after deactivating a specific plugin or your theme, you’ll know that is the source of the conflict.

When you identify the problem, I suggest getting in touch with the plugin or theme author.

    Hello,

I am already using version 2.9.5. Also as I mentioned above, I used a troubleshooting plugin to turn off all themes and plugins except PM Pro and still saw the issue.

Thank you. We have not heard of users having this problem and I am unable to replicate this problem, so the most likely culprit is either a conflict with another active plugin or the theme. I understand that you used a troubleshooting plugin, but to better narrow this down, could you please temporarily deactivate all plugins except for the core PMPro plugin, revert to the default Twenty Twenty One theme, and test again?

Hello, I was unable to test this as I needed my website live at the point that I was having the issues. I switched to a different login plugin.

Today, I was finally able to return and test this out. I verified first that it was still an issue. Then I upgraded to PM Pro 2.9.6 and magically it worked. Therefore, it was an issue with PM Pro and a potential conflict but it seems to have been fixed in the latest version so my issue is indeed resolved now.
