Login screen hangs on “Processing”

    I installed the Two Factor plugin. As far as I know I set it up correctly. I scanned the QR-code and an account was made in my two factor app on the phone. When I try to login I get the normal login screen, I type in my name and pw. After that the login screen hangs with the message “Processing” under the login fields. No 2fa screen comes up. What could be the cause of this? Any help would be much appreciated. I tried to find an answer to this on this forum and others but no solutions found. The site is on the latest version of WP and on PHP 7.4.
