Hi, is it at all possible to have a login/registration popup modal with this plugin when clicking a link/button? Sort of like this: https://i.imgur.com/MnwQ2b7.png

Is it also possible to have an account/profile section in the header/navigation, that shows the user’s profile picture (or initials if they don’t have a picture) and when hovering over it, it shows a dropdown menu with links to the different sections of the profile/account area? • Hello @tubescreamer,

We couldn’t see the images you shared. You can upload them to Google drive or Dropbox.

Tutor LMS creates few default pages after installation. If you haven’t deleted those pages then Tutor login form pops up when anyone tries to access Tutor dashboard or course contents.

You can view our Starter theme demo version which has header profile feature.

Hopefully you can see the images now, in the post above. I know your starter theme has the profile header feature, but I am using my own custom theme, and wanted to know if maybe through a shortcode, I could add this feature to my header in Elementor. It would be great if I could.

Also, regarding the login popup modal, it does work when the user is logged out and tries to access a course on the single course page. But I also have a link to login/access the profile in my header. I want when that link is clicked, the popup shows as well. Is this possible to trigger anywhere on the site through a shortcode as well?

    Hello @tubescreamer,

Can you check if you deleted any of the default pages that Tutor LMS creates after installation. You can navigate to Tutor tools > Tutor pages to regenerate them.

We can’t view any images. You can open this forum page from your browser’s incognito mode to confirm.

Tutor dashboard > settings page has an option to change profile image. You can also view demo version of our Starter theme that has a header profile feature.

You can also write to support at themeum dot com along with your images.

I’ll send you guys an email with the images. I think you might misunderstand what I need/what i’m looking for.

    Hello @drawathome,

You can download Starter theme from here

    Hi Munayam,

I have the startertheme along with theme my plugin, at the moment when I click on the login button it takes me to another page, instead is it possible to have a drop down or pop up option which doesnt take the user away from the page they are on.

    Thanks

    Hello @drawathome,

Starter theme has a “Get Started” button on the header which you can customize from Starter options panel > header. You can link this button to Tutor dashboard so anyone tries to access dashboard will see Tutor login form pops up if you have Tutor login enabled from Tutor settings > advanced tab. Once a user is logged in they see a more profound menu on the header as shown in this Dropbox image.

From WP admin backend dashboard you can navigate to appearance > menus to create other menu items.

    Brilliant answered my question,

    many thanks

@munayam I have figured out a workaround to get the modal to show up when I click on a button outside of the “Enroll” or “Add to Cart” button on the single course page. I just added the classes .tutor-add-to-cart-button and .tutor-open-login-modal to my div/button. Only problem is, this only works on the single course and course archive page. Every other page, the modal doesn’t show.. Please, is there any way I can trigger this login modal when i’m on any page?

    Hello @tubescreamer,

If you have tutor courses embedded in other pages then login modal will pop up.

Login modal is ought to pop up only for Tutor courses and not for other page elements. It will pop up when you have Tutor login enabled from Tutor settings > advanced tab.

Hello @munayam, I have Tutor LMS pro and Astra theme. Previously I used Tutor Starter theme, but now I am switching to Astra. How can I add a dynamic login/logout link in the header and set tutor-login page for the login page?

    Hello @stoimenov00,

From WP admin dashboard > appearance > menus you can search for Tutor login or dashboard page to add it to your header menu. Either page will automatically open up the login form. The logout option is given in Tutor dashboard page only.
