    Hello,

I want to create a landing page for all non-logged-in users where the content is divided into two, registration form and login form, they both always show to the user side by side.

I have used elementor page builder to create the landing page with the shortcodes and I added a redirect “/user/”. When I try to enter the website in incognito (i.e. not logged in) I get an error from Google Chrome saying: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

    I have tried both:
    https://domain.com/user/
    /user/

For the custom redirect URL. Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Oded

  • I encountered a similar problem when setting up my own custom landing page, with a site that was fully password protected. But it was just down to a simple permissions conflict.

Is your landing page set to be your home page in the WP settings > reading > home page?

If not, you’ll need to make sure in UM settings the url of your landing page is listed as a page logged out users can view. Otherwise, when they try to visit the landing page, they’re redirected away to the login page… which creates a continuous loop of redirects. ??

    Hello @haydnhames,

Thanks for your reply, what you say makes sense and I tried to implement but I think i’m a bit lost about the settings you suggested. Could you help me a bit more to understand which settings can cause this?

I updated my website’s homepage to the user profile page.

How can I make sure of that in the settings?

    Hi @odedharel,

I’m afraid, it’s not possible to have one page as a login and register page at the same time. You have to create separate pages and add shortcodes of the login and register forms on these pages, moreover, it is essential to assign these pages in Ultimate member -> Settings -> General -> Pages.

    Regards.

I’m sorry to hear that, I have to disable the plugin then. Please consider adding that functionality please. Thanks!
