Basically you can redirect to something like /user-profile/ then detect that page on load and redirect to the users profile link. Basically /user-profile would act as a single redirect point for any logged in user sending to their own profile.
Unfortunately I feel that buddypress has failed to properly provide a solution here. IE you should be able to say /user/profile and have that use a page template to show the current users profile, rather than always having to navigate to a url like /members/123
