Login redirect

  • Hi, i have installed Peter’s Login Redirect (https://www.theblog.ca/wplogin-redirect) and its awesome.

    Im finding that i can redirect a user to any page i want but if i send a Subscriber to a private page. they get there but it displays as “not found”. if i change them to a higher rank they can see the page.

    how can i change it so that subscribers can see private pages?

  • That’s an issue with permissions levels within WordPress. You’ll need to install a role management plugin to change what permissions are attributed to subscribers. Here are two fairly good ones:

    I just downloaded and installed peters login redirect. Except in my case…it has disconfigured something. No sooner than I unpacked it…my site gives me a 500 Internal Server Error. I called Go Daddy support. They guy told me to use an FTP client and remove that file from the plugins folder..then he added ” I can’t gaurantee that will fix your problem”—So now…I’m even a little freaked to remove that file b/c what if it worsens the problem? What do I do? Is it ok to remove this file from the plugins folder? Will this restore my site? https://www.rumbamix.tv
