• I have been using WordPress for years and have never had login problems. Now I am having a problem which seems to be related to my machine. When I try to log in, nothing happens. I do not get an incorrect password messager, or anything else. This happens on three different browsers, so it is not a cache issue.

I can log in without a problem on other machines. I can also do a password reset (keeping it the same) and then I can log in, but of course that is a pain to do every time.

I realize this is a system problem, not a WordPress problem, but I am wondering if anyone has any insights? I do not have problems logging into any other web services.

    Thank you.

Is this specific to your browser?

No, I’ve tried it in Firefox, Edge, and Chrome, and the problem is persistent.
But, as noted, it is not happening on other machines.

Can you try Chrome again and this time open Chrome’s “console” log? You can do this by pressing F12 and then navigating to the “Console” tab. Once you’re there, refresh the login page and try logging in again.

Do you see any errors in the Console tab?
