    Hi (again) everyone!
I’m writing a second post because I have another problem with Forminator. I tried my test account and I was able to successfully log into a “My account” page I purposefully created for my site (so, a different page from a little WP dashboard). The thing is, if I change page and then return on the login one I have to re-insert my credentials. Does this depend on Forminator, or do I have to make other changes that have nothing to do with it?
My aim would be to login and then, during my session, clicking on the page where the forms are, displaying the “My Account” page (or even “you are already logged in”, which I enabled in the options of the form but doesn’t work).
Is there a way to solve this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi again @rubinof,

Forminator registration and login forms are using WordPress core functions to create and login the users, the operations or issues after that is not related with the plugin.

My aim would be to login and then, during my session, clicking on the page where the forms are, displaying the “My Account” page (or even “you are already logged in”, which I enabled in the options of the form but doesn’t work).

So, you have activated Hide the form if a user is already logged in option but still you can see the form while you are logged in?

Please share an export of the form with us, so that we can check further.

You can find more info on how to export the form here : https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

After exporting, please share the code using a service such as https://pastebin.com which is free to use.

Please always make sure to use such service to share the code and don’t post the code here directly as it will most likely be unusable.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

    Hi, thanks for the reply!

Yes, I checked and the option Hide the form is activated. Anyway, I copied the code here:

    Hi @rubinof

I tested the form and it seems to be working fine on my end but there is a “catch” there.

But let me first make sure that we are on the same side. Is this what is happening (if you haven’t tested it this way yet, please do):

    1. if a logged-out visitor enters the page with Forminator login from, they put their credentials and after clicking the button they are redirected to some other page

    2. now if they click “back” in browser, they are taken back to the login page and login form shows up (note: in fact, you do not need to login again; try just going manually to some other page that’s for logged-in users only and you should see you are still logged-in)

    3. but if instead they e.g. click on menu item pointing to that login page or manually enter the URL of that page, they don’t see the form and get a message “Hai già effettuato l’accesso.”.

    Is that about right?

If yes, it’s not really an issue with Forminator but rather due to how browsers work as it simply serves the page “as it was”. If you are hiding admin bar on front-end then it would indeed look like another login is necessary but if admin bar (or other “non-Forminator” indicator that user is already logged-in) would be showing up, you’d see that you are already logged in there.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

Hi, actually I checked it a few minutes ago and now it seems it’s working just fine, I can see the “You are already logged in” message.

    Thank you very much!
