login problem after 2.6 upgrade

  • I followed the same routine as before.
    1. downloaded latest version (2.6)
    2. backed up database
    3. uploaded 2.6 extrated files to site
    4. accessed site / updated database
    5. prompted to log in, provided information
    that is the normal routine, but now
    6. prompted to log in again
    7. requested new password, thinking I must be typing in wrong password
    8. get new password, try it, same thing UserName / new password = log in again

    any clues? is anyone else experiencing this?
