• Hi. Sorry to bother again.

When I first activated the plugin, I used the Rename Login Page feature. But then I switched on the Cookie Based Brute Force Prevention feature, therefore the Rename Login Page feature was disabled.

The theme I’m using for my website, uses a custom login form. The problem now is that, when I manually enter login / register page addresses (wp-login.php & wp-admin) it redirects me to my homepage, and the custom login form in homepage isn’t working.

The custom login form not working, is actually what matters to me here, not the redirect problem :o)

Yes it was weird to me too seeing that message “wp-content folder not found”

Anyway I tried manually installing the new version. It loaded with my settings since I didn’t delete the backup folder on my host.

    No change. Same problem exists.

I am sorry but I am out of ideas for now. One of the plugin developers will check this out and inform you.

    Thank you

    No problem ??

Well this may help a bit here. I tried disabling all security and firewall features. Then tried enabling and testing only Rename Login and Brute Force Prevention features individually.

Everything was fine. So I guess there’s a conflict here with Brute Force Prevention and another feature (not Rename Login).

Maybe reconfiguring the plugin fixes the problem.

What backup folder? The plugin doesn’t load any settings from any folder or file.

Regarding you custom login page –
Is the purpose of that page to give your users access to the wordpress admin panel?
If so, you can’t have an exception for that page if you are using the rename login feature, ie, if you have activated the Rename Login Page feature, then all access to the wordpress login page will require the secret URL no matter if the page is the standard or custom login page from your theme.

Can you show us link to the custom login page please?

    Hi wpsolutions.

Sorry I thought the plugin reads the backup folder contents for default settings.

The custom login form is used on homepage and it gives access to another custom page provided by the theme which includes users’ data and stuffs like that.

I put the link here. Though it is in my own language, you’ll easily find the custom form :

Have you tried the cookie based brute force prevention feature?
I think that might be best for your situation.

Well all this time I’ve been switching between Brute Force Prevention and Rename Login features.

The problem is after some point I started experiencing some weird problems with my website.

With Rename Login feature enabled, the custom form works perfectly, but I see some errors and warnings when I manually type /wp-admin or /wp-login.php. Also the new url name I chose (sitename.ir/signin) doesn’t load and include my css files and stylesheets.

With Brute Force feature enabled, typing /wp-admin or /wp-login.php perfectly redirects me or users to the homepage. But custom login form stops working.
