Login Problem

Today I ran across a log in problem. When trying to access the dashboard it tells me I need to log in. No problem, input my username and password. When I hit enter it erases what I put in and the log-in page remains. If I put in a wrong password it gives me the normal invalid password error.
Any suggests would be helpful.
