Login password error appearin outside of the login box

    Hello,

    I’ve noticed that when entering an incorrect password the error appears outside of the login box. I’ve disabled all plugins and reenabled one by one and I’ve found that the error occurs only with WooCommerce (must be activated) and WordFence enabled.
    There seems to be a JS conflict of sorts.

    Hi @myhero,

    Thanks for reaching out. When placing the error, Wordfence looks for particular selectors used by WooCommerce and WordPress. We use only unique selectors to avoid issues with compatibility and to ensure that Wordfence scripts only load where they absolutely have to. If your theme doesn’t use these selectors, the error may be misplaced.

    To check for any JavaScript conflicts, can you use your Browser Console to see if you can detect any JavaScript errors or files that fail to load? If you see any red text in the console, please take a screenshot of it and send it to me, along with your site URL.

    I have the same Wordfence related issue when Woocommerce is used in parallel.

    The login error text (The username or password you entered is incorrect) is placed on page top outside Woocommerce login box.

    This post has status Resolved.

    I can’t find however the issue resolution in this post.
