Login page URL

    The above is mentioned in the plugin but what if I want to set up a community website where members need to have access to the login page. Then I will need to share the URL to the login page with members. Does changing the URL still make sense?

    Yes, above is mentioned in rename login tab so user choose loginpage slug hard to know by bots which if know wp-login.php is the login page can do bruteforce attack.

    for community site and you want users to login with WordPress login page wp-login.php you can still rename login page and send registered users the login page url. But you have to do it manually

    Instead If you have community site you may add a separate custom login page and link of it can be added in menu to login, which should also have login page name not like login etc . Make sure captcha is added for that login form to make is secure.
