• Hi there

I’ve tried searching the forums and the internet generally but I can’t find any solutions to this…

I can get to my log in page https://www.unclepandarus.com/wp-admin
and I fill in the correct username and password
And it just returns me to an empty /wp-admin log in form…
    No error message.

Earlier, if I tried logging in with the wrong username or password, it would tell me. Now it doesn’t.

(I just tried logging in with a purposefully incorrect username/password combo and it didn’t give any error message, it just returned me to the empty login form again)

    How do I fix this?

I can’t tell you which version of wordpress I’m on because I don’t know – I’d only be able to tell you from logging into my dashboard….

    Thanks for your help

    Chris

    Oh, I should add…

I tried this in Chrome and Firefox and Safari.
And it happens in all of them.

I cleared out all the history/cookies/cache from Chrome and tried again. Still the same problem happens…

    There’re several post on this:
    https://www.google.dk/search?q=wordpress+login+no+error+message

I had the same problem. Although I tried every single proposed solution nothing worked until I discovered that all my sites on the Lunarpages server were inflicted. Therefore it couldn’t be related to a plugin or theme but the server.
I got support and their answer was this, “A review shows that the issue was being caused by entries within the .htaccess through the “AddType” and “AddHandler” entries. These were adjusted which allowed us to login and re-enable the shopping carts.”
Makes no sense to me since I only have a cart on 1 of the 6 sites…
