• Hello, my wordpress is located in a subfolder (skullxbone.com/skullxbone/) and I use the “site address” in general setting to make the url skullxbone.com and everything seems to work except for the redirect link attached to the login. If you click login it pulls up the correct login screen and you can login but it takes you back to the incorrect place: “skullxbone.com/skullxbone/” instead of “skullxbone.com/”.

link at the top of the page when logging in: “https://skullxbone.com/skullxbone/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fskullxbone.com%2Fforums%2Fforum%2Fnotifications%2Fskullxbone”

also, if you log out while viewing a page it tacks “skullxbone/” onto the address of whatever page you are viewing which of course returns a 404. Can someone please point me to the file I can change this in? Thank you.

Fully updated wordpress using responsive pro theme and buddypress and bbpress.

try – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin.

To be clear I can log in just fine. This is just an appearance issue. Everything works except that after you log in it pushes you to “skullxbone.com/skullxbone/” (the folder that wordpress is installed in but not the correct home page) instead of “skullxbone.com” which is the correct homepage and the destination I would like it to go to.

I have browed the wp-login.php and although I see where the redirect is generated I do not understand why it is linking to /skullxbone/ for login and log out and no where else in the site…

Yes, I followed those directions to get the site set up how it is. As I have stated already the site is working perfectly except the login and logout functions. Login redirects to “skullxbone.com/skullxbone/” (instead of just “skullxbone.com”) and logout adds “/skullxbone/” to the end of whatever page you are on when you log off.

Is this possibly an issue with buddy press? Is there something I can change in the php? Everything is setup correctly as far as I can tell. Is there possibly something left over in the database?

where are the functions that determine what follows “?redirect_to=” in the url of the login pop up? where is the call that logout uses that would add “/skullxbone/” to the end of whatever page you are viewing when you click logout?
