Login page is blank

I am seeing your login page.

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies.

I’ve done so, thank you. Let me clarify I see the page on which I enter my username and password. It’s the next page that is blank.

1. logout or logout with https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?loggedout=true
2. clear cookies and cache (or any cache)
3. exit browser
4. make sure local firewall is not causing problem
5. login with https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php
6. disable all plugins–if necessary read How to deactivate all plugins when not able to access the administrative menus?
7. temporarily rename .htaccess if possible

If WordPress is installed in something other than the root folder please take that into account for the above url examples

I’ve done this and can not login. In fact now I’m getting the following message on page https://blog.ddandhservices.com/wp-login.php

I have a similar problem except that I get a blank page at https://wp.macfusion.org/wp-login.php — nothing showing at all. I tried all the above remedies with no change at all. I have been using WordPress 2.7 for 5 weeks now without any problems.

My problem is resolved. I replaced the wp-login.php file from an new installation package and everything works fine now. Although I am still concerned that this can happen again at any time.

I compared my wp-login.php file on the server with the copy I had on my computer, and found that the one on the server was smaller, with only 2,056 bytes size and with only 65 lines of codes, whereas the computer copy was much larger at 19,738 bytes with 517 lines of codes.

I then renamed the server copy of wp-login.php to some other name and re-uploaded the file using my computer’s copy. I kept the original file on the server, renamed, so that I can have a detailed look at it later, without it being overwritten by the new upload.

My problem solved.

I do not know why the wp-login.php file on the server became truncated.
