I enabled the plugin on a site I’m working on and found that the client could not access the login page (I can).

I did not enable any login hiding or protection. I have not redirected the login page. All plugin settings are the defaults.

The client gets a SiteGround generated page saying she doesn’t have access to the page. She can access the front end of the site fine.

Why would she be blocked, and how can I enable the login page to be visible to all (it will be a membership site)?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @wdenley,

It appears the user tried to login with incorrect login details more times than allowed. This is why the error message is returned to them.

Once the login attempt limit is reached, the IP from which the attempts have originated will be blocked first for 1 hour. If the attempts continue after the first hour, the limit will then be triggered for 24 hours and then for 7 days.

I suggest you to reset their password and sent them an email with the details, so they can use the correct details next time they login.

You can temporally disable “Limit Login Attempts” option, so they can login successfully and counter will be reset.

    Best Regards,
    Elena
