Login page blank/site crashed after renaming plugins folder

Hi,

I’m helping a friend run his website and I think he might have messed something up in the admin settings.

I went to login into the admin panel today and the page was completely blank. I searched around the forums and internet for a solution. Someone suggested renaming the plugins folder for it might be a plugin issue. I did so, which resulted in my theme not functioning anymore. I renamed it black to plugins and it still doesn’t work.

I am now stuck with no login page and a theme that doesn’t work. What is the problem?
